We are very excited to announce that we have been awarded a Lawrence Livermore National Security Grant!

TriV and Lawrence Livermore National Security Labs share the common goal of supporting cyber security interests on the personal, business, and national security level.

The grant will help TriV to provide our youth members with opportunities to learn skills relevant to their future success in our digital age—helping us to grow the next generation of talent in cybersecurity.

LLNS Grant

Our club is planning a cybersecurity initiative to create a mobile cybersecurity learning lab and materials with which to teach kids K-12 basic cybersecurity skills in basic defensive and forensic techniques. The LLNS gift grant will be used to purchase the needed networking and computing equipment for youth members to learn skills through sessionactivities, Cisco Network Academy course materials, and prepare for cybersecurity competitions like Air Force Association’s (AFA) CyberPatriot competition, Cal Poly’s California Cyber Innovation Challenge, and capture-the-flag types of competition such as Pico CTF.
