DVC College for Kids: Computer Science and More To Keep Skills Fresh Over Summer

Diablo Valley College for Kids offers computer science classes such as keyboarding, python game development, web development and games, and graphical block programming game development using Scratch or Tynker for a modest fee.  Online registration is now open for classes at both campuses: Pleasant Hill and San Ramon.  Visit the website for course descriptions, schedules, fees, and registration.  You can view the brochure or download the booklet.  DVC College for Kids is a great way to maintain skills over the summer months.

There are two 3-week sessions of College for Kids. Classes are held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Generally classes are one hour long, with the exception of a Photography class, which is two hours. A student can sign up for one, two or three classes each session, but classes must be consecutively scheduled. College for Kids does not provide supervision outside of class time.

Dates for the summer:
• Session I: June 17 through July 3
• Session II: July 8 through July 24
